About the project

 

 

In the field of company employee training and education in the rubber manufacturing industry we are presently challenged with a higher need for introducing an efficient system for transfer of knowledge and experience about the rubber manufacturing to employees. Formal education in the field of the rubber manufacturing and polymer technologies is non-existent in Slovenia. Knowledge available from various institutions and research centres is prepared for teaching in a classical manner, which is often not adjusted to actual requirements in companies. 

 

Transfer of knowledge has become a necessity for various field experts. Experts in companies lacking formal pedagogical or androgogical qualifications, but taking part in the educational process work as part-time lecturers or trainers. Corresponding pedagogical qualification is not required for their basic working performance. Unfortunately, the present offer of pedagogical and androgogical training for experts and specialist in EU rubber manufacturing industry is too small and will unfortunately not be sufficient. The transfer of knowledge needs an added value.

 

In cooperation with partnership organisation we will qualify experts employed with companies to become more efficient knowledge provider – internal trainers. We will equip them with advanced know-how from the area of NLP – neurolinguistic programming that is being established as a sophisticated and efficient method for learning and personal growth.

 

Simultaneously with training of trainers we will compile a collection of relevant contents relating to the rubber manufacturing industry, adjust them correspondingly to the NLP learning techniques and present them as an end product in a form of a manual or a workbook that will have the role of study materials. In the pilot project phase the study manual (workbook) will be prepared in the Slovene, English and German language. To assure the flexibility in presenting the prepared contents, these will be compiled in the electronic version as well – launching a learning portal (virtual classroom) via the internet and CD-ROM.


New approaches and methods will enable a more efficient transfer of rubber manufacturing contents in the adjusted manner. By introducing a programme that is brought into line with the requirements of the EU rubber manufacturing industry employees will gain knowledge, which will secure additional possibilities for employing in the EU. The system will provide a systematic and professional approach to teaching about required rubber manufacturing proficiencies. Themes that are presently dispersed in various companies and institutions will be transferred to target groups in companies according to the uniform system. Experts who appear as lecturers and trainers will acquire required missing proficiencies.

 

The final aim of the project is to establish a partnership system for training about the rubber manufacturing industry in the EU originating from the project-based tools in manners that will be adapted to employees in the rubber manufacturing industry.
